Just finished my rear storage box...

It turned out really nice. Just thought I'd show you what I came up with.

Thanks! I actually have two 8" shallow mount subs that I was going to mount in the front of the box but it would have taken up 5" of storage. It doesn't sound like much but the storage took priority. The drawer is 30" deep and it's still to small! Lol.

It can be removed but I wouldn't say easily. It's bolted through the floor with carriage bolts which will to be loosened from under the jeep. It's made from 13 ply 3/4" baltic birch so it's pretty heavy and has to be tilted in at an angle to get it in place. I don't plan on ever taking it out though.

They are rated at 500 pounds. Definitely a little overkill but because of the length I needed the rating was a lot higher.
