This is Jeep Wrangler #3 for me and #9 for Wrangler/CJ through my immediate family. Between myself, my parents and my sister we have had or have, 72 CJ5, 74 CJ5, 83CJ7, 94YJ, 03TJ, 06TJ, 06TJL, 06TJL, 18JLU.....

I have also been in the process of getting a new Job as tech at my local Jeep/dodge dealer. At the same time I was buying this TJ I got the call that I have officially have the position. So after 8 years building transmissions, then another 8 years as Master Mercedes Benz tech. I will be jumping to the Jeep/dodge life surrounded by new JL's.

That looks like a really nice find.

If not for the kids, I would trade my JKUR for a super clean, original LJ like yours. Enjoy.

This Monday on my way to work I was rear ended by another driver. 6 days I owned this Jeep when it happened.

They have insurance and I will be taken care of. I was stationary at a light and looked up a the last second and saw they were not slowing down and tried to get away but couldn't.

I'm not happy at all. But I'm taking it to the best body shop in town and it will be done right.

Those skids marks are my worn down Toyo Mt's that came on this thing sliding across the pavement, it was a ride to say the least. I was VERY unhappy, but kept my cool.

I'm sorry to hear that, it's a sharp and clean looking LJ. Is there anything damaged beyond the bumper? If not it could be upgrade time. Either way I hope you get it fixed and it's good as new.

Tailgate is bent up some. And there is a dent o n the passenger side. It goes in tomorrow morning for repairs.

My guess is the bumper and tailgate will be easy fixes. I'm not sure about the dent on the passenger side. Good Luck!

Just got back in a TJ.

Welcome home! Nice Jeep. And reading further into this thread, I see the post about the accident. Sorry about the accident, and hope nobody was hurt.

Man that really sucks!

Looks like your Jeep kicked the sh*t out of the Corolla though.
