Quadratec Premium Soft Top? Yay or Nay?

I am in the market for a new soft top. I'll likely let my current one get through this winter, even with my cracked upper window.

Does anyone have the Quadratec premium top? How does it compare to the OEM and the Bestops? I prefer not to spend the money to get the supertop and I prefer to reuse my OEM frame. If was going to spend all that, I'd likely get a hard top. Quadratec claims their fabric is thicker and their windows are tighter, but does anyone have real world experience with these? Durability, wind sound, zipper quality, etc.?

I have a Quadratec replacement soft top. I wasn't sure which one since it's been a few years, but looking on their website they only offer one with the tinted windows so that must be the one that I purchased.

QuadraTop® Replacement Soft Top with Upper Doors & Tinted Rear Windows for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ | Quadratec

Honestly though, I don't have anything to compare it to except the Bestop that was on the Jeep when I bought it. However, that one was full of rips and holes.

I haven't had any issues with the zippers or durability. The wind noise is there since it's a soft top. But again, I don't have much to compare it to. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again though.

I have this soft top in my Wish List on the Quadratec site. From all indications, the sailcloth weight & other spec's appear to meet or exceed the Bestop, and is a few hundred $$ less. My plan is to buy it in the Spring with my income tax refund. I'll give it a good inspection and if for some reason it doesn't seem up to par, I'll send it back. I don't anticipate having to send it back, but Quadratec is very good about their returns.

I have the Quadratec premium sailcloth one with tinted windows. It's been about 2 and a half years since I bought it and I've had no problems with the durability. Only drawback is that the side windows fit just a little loose. I can deal with it. Really happy with the purchase overall.

I just installed the Premium Sailcloth one with tinted windows as well. This is my first Jeep, so not a lot of experience to compare to. But in my opinion, I am very happy with it. Side windows are a little lose as Orange_Sport pointed out, but that does not seem to affect its overall function. It was a real pain to install, especially in the colder months (no hot sun to loosen the fabric)!
