Seat covers

So I'm looking for good tight fitting high quality seat covers for my 97. I have 200$ give or take to spend what would be my best bet for front and back seat covers?

Not $200 but the bartact seat covers fit extremely well.

I have the coverking neoprene ones and I won't get another set. They came on the Jeep when I bought it. They are a tight fit which is nice, but I hate the material. Anything over 80 degrees, and it is swamp ass like crazy. Under 80 they are fine though and no complaints.

I am looking at the coverking ballistic nylon one's or the Bartact one's next. The bartact is a big maybe though due to the price.

Marathon Seat covers. Had ridden in a couple jeeps with them and they are excellent.

I ordered the Coverking ballistic nylon one's from Quadratec a little bit ago. Taking a chance on them. Hopefully they get here in a timely manner. Front and rear the set was 180.

I haven't personally owned a set, but when I finally decide to get seat covers, I won't get anything but bartact. I've heard too many good things about them

I originally had neoprene covers and almost immediately regretted them. They get hot as can be in the sun and retain water. Switched to Bestop covers and am still very happy with them 5+ years later. They look great to me, I can sit on them in shorts after leaving them in the sun all day, and they repel water. They do take a week or two after you first put them on for the wrinkles to fall out but they will.

Yeah, get anything that isn't neoprene.

Sitting on rubber in sun\heat is just about the worst idea ever.

Anyone install these? Going between these and the Bartact covers, don't want to drop the $ on Bartact right now. Wondering if the Quadratec neoprene covers will get me through summer, last thing I want is blistering hot covers that retain water. Curious what experience people have had with these. Are they comfortable to sit on?

Over in the JK section there's a nice 4 page thread going on them with several reviews:

Since this seems to be the only way to get a Quadratec employee to answer anywhere lately. I will quote a post.

Ordered the Coverking ballistic nylon from Quadratec(Order# W3707688), and in typical Quadratec fashion as of late I only got the rear in the mail, after getting the e-mail my order had been shipped and nothing showed on backorder when logging in last week. On logging in online now it shows warehouse processing and no estimated time on shipping. This is getting to be a much to common trend with this company, and then no response to e-mails from customer service. Not just on this order alone for me, but prior orders. Any questions were no response e-mails except if I requested to cancel and it was a response within half an hour.

Hi there,

Sorry for a delay in response through other channels. This is our busy season and e-mails are showing 1-3 business days for a response, though that dies down as you hit Friday.

For your Coverking seat covers, the rears shipped from our inventory. The fronts are shipped direct from Coverking. I just spoke with Carol at Coverking. She's telling me they are almost finished production. They "should ship tomorrow or Thursday." Once shipped we will e-mail you that the order has shipped. Very sorry for the delay.

If you have any other questions please let me know.

Thanks!

I have some Bestop seat covers in mine. They look great and fit well. However, they get VERY hot and sweaty. I live in San Antonio, TX and I have to use a towel as a buffer to keep my shirt and ass from getting soaked if I am in the car for any length of time. This is with the AC blasting.

I've had two sets of these now (on 2 different vehicles). So far so good. Not top of the line, but at around $25 ea (the go on sale pretty regularly), I'm very happy with them.

Online it says they aren't expected to ship until end of September?? Is there anyway to get it sooner? I've been wanting the blue set for my '12 Wrangler jk...was finally ready to pull the trigger.

Hello!

We are currently waiting on the console cover, we have the seat covers in stock. If you would like to order a set of those for your JK. I would be happy to break up the kit so the covers would ship now and that free console cover will ship for you as soon as we receive our stock shipment if you do not mind waiting for that part of the kit.

Just PM me your information (name, address, phone number and email address) with the kit part number that you are looking at and I would be more than happy to do that for you.

Thank you,
Hailey

Have to agree. I actually just ordered a rear cover for my '05 and plan to put my rear seat back in for the rest of the summer. I get a LOT of compliments on the front seats. People can't believe they are covers.

I have heard nothing but good about this set, especially for the cheap price point: A buddy has it and it looks factory, not saggy at all.
