Shocks

Ok....... im back to finding out my lift kit size. Found the shock numbers for the skyjackers..... N8056 and N8088 soft ride. Can any one now tell me which kit them were matched with? I want to replace them..... the simple thing is to just go back with the same ones. Ive seen them on Amazon but the sponsors/dealer dont seem to have these ....... have the numbers changed? Mine are toast. I thought it was the hitch, but got checking and the rubbers are gone on both the rear shocks.... one at the top the other at the bottom. So.... its a rattle trap.

X2. Although, I'm more in favor of 5100s. I have zero complaints with mine

Im looking on Morris site and seems the 5100s are 2" lift shocks. So do they make them for the 4" lift?

We have the Bilstein 5100s for a 4" lift. I run them in my Jeep and like them, but they have a reputation for being a little stiff. Let me know if you have any questions or would like a quote on some shocks!

Ryan......... it looked like the 4" lift 5100s were out of stock. You said some think they are stiff....... well some say the same thing about the Skyjackers. Give me some suggestions...... i need them like yesterday. I forgot about the ranchos...... good shocks? Are they stiff as well and whats the shocktober deal?

I've still got Hydros on mine, seem soft enough. I thought the monotubes were going to run stiffer though.

Shocktober is buy 3, get one free. They supposedly make a really quality part. The adjustable shocks are supposed to be good because you can dial in the ride quality you like. You most likely will find the setting you like and not change them, but the fact that you can dial them in without needing to have them revalved is a nice feature.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I did check with your local guy.... he said he didnt have any Ranchos for a 4" lift, only 3" and 5-6". But i do like buying off line getting 4 for 3 and avoiding that extra Fl sales tax. Im waiting on a price now if you have them.

These will have enough travel for a 4" system, even if we call it out for a 3.5"
Good luck.
Thanks Matt
