Trektop NX Question

I bought a new Trektop NX for my 03. Put it on and everything was going well until I went to zip the rear window on the passenger side. There is no zipper pull on either of the windows. The both have zipper tracks, just no pull. I am going to call Bestop on Tuesday but I suspect they wont warranty it since I bought it from an eBay auction and it has been sitting here since December. My question is on the back which window is the zipper pull on, the back window or the side window. Worst case I will buy a new window, just wanted to know which one I will potentially need.

Bad news - the slide is on the side window zipper. At the top of the zipper track on the side window should be a small stop to keep the pull from going off. On the zipper track on the rear window should be a small point that goes into the pull to start zipping the window in.

If the stop is there on the window track, you should be able to purchase just the slides. But most likely you will have to purchase the side windows.

It's a great top, but a real pain to get on the first time since it is so different. Side windows go in first, then start one side of the rear windows but only zip it several inches, then get the other side started. I could zip mine down about 3/4 of the way then it was a pull and zip, pull and zip to get everything together. The first time I couldn't get the last inch or so, but the flap covers it. Then after a few days a little more pulling and I got them all the way down.

Thanks for the info. I like the tan top on the Khaki Jeep, looks good. Where did you get the clear turn signal lights?

I got them from Quadratec. They were a Quadratec item, all four in one box for about $56. They appear to have been discontinued since I can't get the part number to come up on their site. However, Crown has the two side marker lens as one item:
https://www.quadratec.com/products/55208_900.htm

And the front parking lights available individually:
https://www.quadratec.com/p/crown-au...imited-RT28021
and:
https://www.quadratec.com/p/crown-au...imited-RT28022

The originals were getting in bad shape and I was about to have the Jeep given a facelift (new paint, new (hard to find) flares (Rubicons are Mopar only source) new top, door seals, wheels and tires. In the military we had the term "mission creep" in the Jeep world it's "project creep".

Down here during the pollen season, black shows all the pollen and it's hard to get off the soft top. It doesn't show on the spice. (Doesn't really show on the light khaki color either, at least not like it does on the blue).

Called Bestop, great customer service. They are sending me out a replacement side window for free, no questions asked.

While looking for headlight wiring I stumbled upon the listing of all four clear lenses in one kit at a slightly lower price, more in line with what I paid for the kit last year.

I found a set on eBay for about $10 less, figured I would give them a try.
