I just ordered some of these bestop fabric doors too, supposed to be here today... I wasn't sure about them, I thought it would be a 50/50 shot that I would be returning them. What do you think? How is the quality? Did you go with Black Diamond or Black Denim? Pic looks good!

New fuel pump. Was pretty easy. Check valve on the old one was going out and the sending unit has on its last leg. Only took about an hour.

Got the Bosch from Rockauto. Yep 19gal.

Threw me for a second that the pump collapses into the tank.

Pics or it didn't happen! No I'd like to see how that looks if you have any pics please

I ran the cables along the bottom of the angle steel on the windshield side. I drilled two holes and wire tied the cables to the bottom of the angle. Makes a neat job and you can't see them. I ran the antenna cable from the mount on the left brake light along the left rocker panel and up the A column on the driver's side. Used wire ties to wire tie it to the piece of molding on the column. I took the radio bezel off and the small panel that holds the cigarette lighter. I used suitcase connectors to connect the radio power cord to the wires feeding the cigarette lighter. I ran the wires up behind the dash and along the top of the dash under the grate that has to be removed to take off the bezel and then up the A column. Luckily my cigarette lighter isn't powered without the key turned on so I won't be forgetting to turn off the radio and running the battery down. Another plus is the speaker on the radio is on the bottom and you can hear it without having to use a remote speaker as so often is the case. BG

Thanks, was actually surprised at how easy it is to remove some of the panels and to paint the others in place.

We'll see how it wears now.

Washed it, found more mud up in the rear mud storage wells behind the taillights.

Broke a bolt off the very rusty gas tank skid plate. Whoever decided to put those rubber caps on two on the bolts is probably the same guy who thought torx head bolts was a good idea. I'd like to have conversation with him about both choices.

These Bestop half fabric doors totally exceeded my expectations, I really thought they would be cheap and crappy and I'd want to return them. Showed them to a jeeping buddy and he's ordering a set in tan... I recommend them to anyone looking for cost effective half doors! Also really happy with the spiderweb shade cage from spiderwebshade.com ...

Ordered a spiderwebshade sw1 top for my jeep yesterday as well as a mucket seal for where the door surround meets the tub. Headed out to the garage afterwards determined to fix or find out what's needs to be done to be able to turn the air to cold instead of heat. Turns out the hole had come off of the little clip and was wedged in such a way that I couldn't even slide the temp gauge. All fixed now and I have cool air. Also wired in a fan to the cigarette lighter like the bus drivers have. Great while sitting at stop lights

Thought I was going to get stuck for sure.

Yesterday, decided to check out my "Jeep Test Hill". A local hog hunter got stuck last month and a foot of rain had washed it out even more, so much so that I was tipping and high centering and had to add power in order to go downhill! It's a dead end so I really had my doubts about the "Sand Crawler" (my painfully stock '98 Sahara) making it back up the steep, deeply rutted wash.

A barbed wire fence on one side and heavy brush on the other, there is only one line. The washed out ruts take control of the steering. Thought I would have to call the hog hunter to bring his "full growed man truck" to recover me but the old girl was a champ. Had to use a little momentum and bounce for the worst spots, but we made it. She never ceases to amaze me.
