I had a tree fall through mine, got some vinyl glue and time, it worked great, besides the lightning bolts. They probably have black

Interesting (and awful).

I actually just ordered Bestop's replace-a-top because my back window zipper fouled up: between the holes, the hard-to-see-through windows, and now a bad zipper, I'm done. The current $100 rebate offer doesn't hurt either.

...when you say " I'm going to be in the garage working on the Jeep" and your wife instantly thinks it is going to cost $500+ and all you are doing is replacing the door straps...which cost $6.

3" of water pooled up in the footwell while I was at the gym today. When I pulled the rubber drain plug a beautiful little drain vortex formed. Now I know why they call the body a 'tub'.

Lol at #10! But where are 8,9 and 10? Or did they not catch up with us yet? Haha! Thanks for posting the list though, and to the rest for contributing too! This community rocks! I had a good laugh that was well deserved as we're winding down the weekend here Down Under!

When you follow your local weather forecasters on twitter, they know you drive a Jeep and you get a DM from one saying "I know my on air forecast is optimistic for no rain today, but bring your windows along, it's gonna rain" Thanks Katelyn!!

When your son needs a ride at 11pm and tells you at 10:55. You get pissed because you are in bed because you have to work in the morning. But then you throw on your carhart and hop in the topless and doorless jeep and your son and friends get to freeze because teenagers apparently don't believe in coats. Paybacks are a bitch!

Hahahaha classic. Happened with my friends one summer day, went out wheeling, on the way back got really windy and temperature dropped. I was the only one with a sweatshirt, rest were all in shorts and tank tops

When the tops off I always have a lined Pendleton rolled up between the seats.

Keep a denim jacket in the Jeep for this. Never know when you will be later than expected and in New England temps drop like a rock when the sun goes down.

So true, I've learned as well. Jackets and blankets fit nicely under the back seat too.

I had the doors off and I remember coming home from up in the mountains after dark, my friend said "Im cold man, but only on THIS side!" lol. He was referring to his right side, since he was on the passenger side lol.

You know you drive a TJ when:

You walk by the Jeep, notice liquid on the ground underneath and don't think AC first.

When you stay up till 1 am trying to get the damn motor mounts switched out, and then a nut that was tack welded INSIDE the frame breaks the weld. And now you have to figure out how to get to it. Some times I hate doing things myself lol

When your two year old sees you working on it, gets a huge grin, runs and grabs his toy wooden hammer, comes back and starts belting the shit out of your tires "fixing daddy jeep tire"... sounds like its time to ditch the stockies

It stops running and the reason could cost $5 or $5000.
