I'd like to think there is a thread like this in the JK section with one something like this:
"You know you drive a JK(or you think its a JK, who knows) when all these other jeeps wave at you and you don't know why."

Haha, only joking of course, i know there are plenty of jeepers out there in the newer jeeps who know what their way around a jeep, but down here is southern california... i'm about to start waiving at built cherokee's. Ill probably get more or a response out of them than your average JK driver.

And you don't worry about break checking them or you get behind them and unleash an unholy amount of off-road lights on them because... they flashed you

Running with the the soft top no windows, in stop and go traffic, radio turned up listen to some Grateful Dead, older gent in the little sports car convertible top down, windows up and driving gloves on wave to get my attention, I turn down the radio down to see what he wants. He says to me if your're going to listen to awful music that loud, roll up your windows so the rest of us don't have to hear it.
I chuckled, rolled up my window and turned it back up!

Riding in my wife's JK with the doors on feel confining. Yesterday I rode in my brother's Camry, i thought I was sitting on the ground when I got in, it was like riding a shop creeper being that close to the road.

It's just been too hot here. I finally got around to fixing my AC a couple weeks back. I've been driving sealed up. Plus, every day for the past couple weeks we've been having at least a 30% chance of rain. The last three times I've dropped my top, I've gotten rained on.

Funny cause I'm driving around covered and bathed in AC wondering if JK's even came with AC. LOL.

In the last few weeks I installed the rear bumper/tire carrier, front bumper, changed the oil/filters and washed it today (with the doors off and top down). Precision wash

I have the left green arrow at a stop light, and the two guys sitting at the red light on the other side in a cool new Corvette seem to stare at me all the way through my left turn in front of them. I'm thinking, "what are you looking at"? Then it dawned on me.

When you leave a few notebooks and two expensive books in the back of your Jeep overnight, it rains, and you've ruined all of them.

When others know not to refer to your TJ as "a car", so just call it "that thing"...which you find oddly amusing and appealing at the same time!

This is all too true...

I say "I have to do something to the Jeep in the morning. It should only be an hour" to my girlfriend and her reply is usually "So I won't be seeing you then?"
