1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ needs motor

I have an automatic 1990 Wrangler no pressure in valves new starter wont start need new motor i think. will 1992 motor fit or what can i use??

What engine are we talking about here? If it is the 6 cyl you most likely have the 4.2 carborated engine and the 92 would have the 4.0 fuel injected motor. I say "most likely" because some 90's had the 4.0. This swap can be done, but is a bit involved.

If it is the 4 cyl, I think you might be ok, but am not 100% on that one.
