1991 yj hard upper doors

I just bought a 91 yj 4 cylinder 5 speed with a hard top and hard upper doors. How do these hard upper doors mount to the half doors? First Wrangler I have ever owned. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What brand are they? They generally mount right into the wholes at the top of the door.

I don't know a brand. There are 3 holes on the top of the door but only one pin on each upper doors. The pin is closest to the front of the jeep

I have hard uppers like that for my half doors.
The determining factor of them fitting is if the holes in the bottom of the window frames align with the holes in the top of the doors. CJ7, YJ and TJ windows should be interchangeable with a hard top or rounded corner soft tops.

On my windows, they originally came with long thumbscrews that went down through the bottom of the window frame and screwed into the clips that would hold the pegs on a soft window metal frame. I was unable to make any kind of a secure seal with the factory setup so I made an field modification by disassembling the door trim and spot welding a nut at the bottom of the channel where the factory clip sits.
As I remember the original bolts were 5/16". I used a length of 3/8" allthread with a nut on top that went down into the door and screwed into the nut that I spot welded there. This worked reasonably well.
I now have full doors.

Good Luck, L.M.

Hello barrons and brask , I know it's been a bit but if anyone has doors like that I would also take them off your hands if they aren't wanted
