I keep telling you I only got room for one more bike, although if it came with a hardtop I guess I could leave it outside the garage...

OK, so I move the bikes forward, fold up the table, I could squeeze 'er in there. Now if I only had a trailer, I could pull it with the Silverado, but I'd have to sell it to get the cash, Hows 3 grand and I'll buy you a couple beers??? LOL

Thanks for following up. I moved on from this rig. Even if he came down, I'd still have to put more money in than I would want to get the right specs. I'm looking for more of a stock or one that's built out correctly.

But if it seriously runs, there's enough invested that I'd buy it for $7500 given some of the crappy rigs I've seen in my neck of the woods lately...
Ya this thing was crazy built out. I'm sure it's perfect for someone that knows what they're doing / can work on it. The current owner's garage had tons of tools / motorcycles / atv's and he's a novice mechanic. Not for me.

It runs like its new, and I have never had a problem with it, other than a front brake/rotor which I replaced. Its amazing off road and runs great around town. Sad to see it go, but again, looking for something a little less upgraded.

Speaking of upgrades, this thing is LOADED. It has more upgrades on this thing than I am aware of, literally.

Cut & paste from ad. The red text leads me to think it might pass California smog inspection.
JonStevens, I don't see in the ad where the seller states it'll pass. I'm assuming you called him?
Does California require some type of windshield sticker to indicate the vehicle passes smog? I don't see any sort of windshield sticker.

The underlined text makes me think that 1) either it's a flip or 2) the seller bought it to use and there's either a hidden fault that he didn't discover before he bought it or he's afraid of it.

Not that I particularly care about any of this, I just think it's cool to have a conversation about a third party's vehicle and state our thoughts and opinions. That's how we learn from each other.
Kinda like going to a car show and discussing a vehicle there.

Good Luck, L.M.
Check this out. I like this because it shows a history. If the vehicle has a smog certificate but has failed, aborted or been tampered in the past, I can decide how to proceed.

The plate is smudged out in one picture but it can be seen in another one.

No window sticker or anything showing smog. Can't get the license plate sticker(registration) without passing or being exempt of smog.

That’s a lot of $$$ , I’m thinking if it’s your first Jeep and 80% is going to be paved, maybe you should look at something more stock. Then you have some cash to do the mods you like. Just a thought either way all the best 😎

Wow! That link is a handy tool for someone living in and buying a vehicle in California.
I entered the VIN (from the ad) and it came back as passing on 11-22-2019.
(A week and a half ago). So, if the VIN is good, we know the overpriced thing will pass smog.

Good Luck, L.M.
