2.5l multiple different engine sounds

So I have a 95 YJ with the 2.5l 4 banger and lately once warmed up it makes multiple different noises. Does not make much of any sounds when cool. Have listened to many videos and read many threads on lifter tick and piston slap as well as timing chain. Based on the video it kind of sounds like all of the above or at least lifters and timing chain. The lifter sound comes and goes as you can hear in the video. Is this normal for “lifter tick”? I just wanted a second opinion before ordering some parts. Also, just did an oil change and switched to 10w-30 high mileage. Could that be attributing? Also, the only making noise when warm is kind of throwing me off. Any help would be great. Thanks https://youtu.be/uQ7scitYneM

Perhaps a mechanic's stethoscope could help you narrow down the source of your sounds and identify what the issues are.

Sounds pretty normal to me, are you experiencing any other issues besides the noise?

Actually, it runs awesome but just makes a lot of noise. This is my first 2.5 I have had a 4.0 and never had any issues with it.

Lifter tick seems to be considered 'normal' by many.
If I had lifter tick in a brand new 2.5 engine, I'd take it back until they cured it. As common as it is, I don't think it should be considered 'normal'.

I'd start by running a can of Seafoam in the crankcase just prior to the next oil change.

You don't state how many miles are on your engine. I think a worn timing chain is an underdiagnosed issue as far as smooth and quiet running.
A new timing chain & gears is a relatively inexpensive and simple operation that will bring about a sense of certainty to any future maintenance.

Depending on your budget and skill, a new timing chain, cam & lifters might be something to consider. Other posters with 2.5s should chime in.

Good Luck, L.M.
