A little out of my price range but here's a YJ for 30,000 clams if anyone is interested. I will say it looks well done but.... Would any of yall spend 30k on a YJ?

Only way I would spend anywhere near that is if it has like less than 50 miles and was completely original and flawless.

However he probably did invest that much, but there's no way he will get anywhere near his invested sum.

Who's says some of us haven't spent that already over the years on our yj? LOL Mines been in the family for 26 years, probably spent that over the years on to keep it up plus the $9k purchase price..LOL

I bet it you cook in that thing down here in the summer even with the air cut wide open with that big motor. Nice rig, I don't like the dash...if your going to put those kind of resources into a resto the dash is something you just don't mess with. Might as well put round headlights in it....IMHO

I'll admit, it sure looks clean in the pics. The seller put a whole lot of time and money into a Jeep that I wouldn't want to take on the Colorado mountain mining roads (trails). The Jeep in the ad is too pretty to beat up.

No winch, no recovery points and too much chrome for my taste. The automatic V8 with A/C sure is a plus though.

The reason I have a 1987 YJ is that it is a (relatively) cheap toy. If I were to spend $30K for a vehicle, I would buy a late model Tacoma for $20K and add $10K worth of trail upgrades. Just my $00.02.

Seller states that a person couldn't build a Jeep like this nice for $50K. Maybe yes or maybe no. If I had $50K, I would invest in a car wash or other real estate.

Good Luck, L.M.

1: chrome, eww. 2: automatic, heh. Other than that it seems like a really nice YJ. The price is about reasonable for my area too not sure I'd go look at it though, seems too nice for me to beat up as Mac said.

I tried to check it out but, the ad has already been deleted. No way I'd buy a YJ for that much though...
