88 YJ -- somethings locked any ideas

So I decided to take my (new) YJ out in the mud and got stuck.

I enganged the manual cable locker ( not sure exactly which locker the person I bought it from bought it with it and didn't care) and my 4wd. Still had to get pulled out. However, the locker wouldn't disengage so it was manually disengaged from under the jeep. It still has major death wobble going on over 20mph though. I haven't had a chance to fully get under it but I'm just looking for ideas on what it could be. I'm far from a fantastic mechanic but I am learning

Any ideas would be appreciated

As far as the locker cable...does it go to the differential housing, or to the square box (CAD) on the passenger side of the axle? And how was it manually disengaged under the Jeep?

The death wobble could mean either you bent a part on the steering linkage, or it could be as simple as some mud stuck in the inside of the wheels.
