92 wrangler

What is the fuel milage for a 92 wrangler 4.0 ho 5 speed and what will happen to the milage if you put a Stage 2 Supercharger Turbonator and a Stage 3 Surge O2 Chip in it?

Bone stock, small tires, moderate speed, in perfect tune & judicious driving ...you could possibly see close to 20mpg on the highway. That's best case scenario, more like 17-19.

If those add ons really worked, they would come from the factory on new cars. They don't.

Snake oil.

I dont see you getting anywhere near 20mpg unless you throw it off a really tall cliff. Since the Wrangler has the aerodynamics that god gave a rock, and you have a 4.0 5spd, I would bet that the mpg is more in the low teens range. As far as the bolt on products that you mentioned, they will give you performance but not mpg. Face it, a Wrangler is designed for 1 thing, fun in 4wd. If you want mpg, buy a rice grinder car. Sure you can tweak it here and there and maybe up the mpg a few points, but as soon as you pull that stick back the mpg goes right out the window. Have fun with your ride, and ride because its fun.
