93 Wrangler vs 2012 Mazda 6

Got this about 6 weeks ago and put a lot of work into it since then.
(build Thread here) https://www.wranglerforum.com/f330/93...x-1200689.html

Going straight when Mazda decided he would try to cut the corner and make the turn in front of me. Hit him around 15-20mph.

FYI 3" BL came with the Jeep

Also cracked the fiberglass hood and the grill it out of line. Hood gaps are larger than my finger now where it meets the fenders

Ouch.Looks like you should be able to mend it if you wanted to though. I enjoyed the build thread. Would love to see you rebuild it.

Had a buddy in the front and back seat and because the buckles don't slide easily to adjust(rear guy) he put the seat belt on loose(and admitted that) and hit his legs on the front seat/metal center console. He is just bruised pretty bad, nothing broken. The passenger in the front kept his seat further up than normal to leave room for the rear guy (there's plenty of room, but he didn't know that) he hit his leg on the lower part of the dash but it was very minor.

I just have a sore neck, but am not pursuing any medical attention.

It also broke the welds on both fenders where it was repaired and snapped the front fender brace inside the wheel well. Frame is fine except where the bumper was bolted, it bent from the bolts being pushed.

I should have an estimator come out this week. I have no idea how they are going to assess the damage because the body is bent on every body mount and also the body mounts of the frame were bent

Willing to bet they total it with the body mounts that way. I have seen many vehicles in better condition be totaled. But that's ok should still be able to fix it and use a salvage title

If it's totaled I doubt I will get a salvage since it's a 1993. They usually don't require it in MA for cars older than like 10 or 15 years. I should be able to fix it but this project was suppose to be done this past weekend and I have other things I need to do before I can get back to it

That SUCKS!
I was watching your build thread and curious to see how the turbo would work out. At least no one was hurt...the Jeep can be rebuilt.

Shouldn't the Mazda owner be paying for it? Not you

Here in the lovely "Libtard" state of TAXachusetts we're a "No-Fault" state when it come to auto insurance. You'll be compensated by your insurance company and they will go after the other parties insurance for the damages and your deductible. When it comes to "injuries", that's covered by your "Personal Injury Protection" (PIP) coverage with is required. If the injuries are severe enough to exceed the "thresholds" set by the state, then you can file a personal injury law suit against the at-fault party.

Haha, nah I've never went to a doctor from any car accident. They can't do anything for a sore neck that I can't do myself. Medical costs are fkin retarded in America.

Yea...I was being sarcastic!
I've been in two accidents, neither serious, that weren't my fault and the other party immediately told the officers they needed medical attention. I figured they wanted to add "Disability" to their "other" benefits!!!

Managed to get the frame and body back in line for the most part. 4700lb 20' chain attached to front roll bars and a large tree. Took about 8 good pulls in 1st gear to get it "straight"

I did bend all 4 leaf springs from "fixing" the frame and need to order new ones. The front are straight and the rears looks like an S
