Ambient Temp

Anyone know where I might could find a small ambient temp display that could be mounted inside the jeep to read the outside temp? Thanks

Any auto parts store will have what you're looking for, usually $15-20. The issue is going to be placing the sensor correctly. Mine sits near the drive door top hinge, but always seems to read a bit high.
Amazon has several on their site too.

Thanks for the feedback, I saw some on amazon and didn't think about the ones for the rear view mirror. I was hoping someone had something mounted to share. I like word of mouth better than reading the 50/50 reviews on web sites.

Batjack, I bought a similar one at O'Reillys. At first I had it mounted high on the windshield, but the Colorado sunshine melted the adhesive on the Velcro attachments.
It would fall and dangle by the power wire, so I stuck it below my idiot lights, sitting just above my steering column.
It has a little sensing button for the outside temp that I mounted just above the upper drivers door hinge. I tucked the wire between the cowl panel and the windshield gasket.
I find it to be quite handy. It also has a clock, but it's easier for me to look at my radio if I want to know the time.

Good Luck, L.M.

Excuse the dirt (moving hay), but this is where I mounted mine. Seems OK, not in the way.

I like the location, I think mine might end up in the same place. Where did you mount the temp sensor?
