Attaching a flag stand, Mijeeper80

I have been wanting to put a flag stand on my jeep for a big flag, like 4ft flag maybe. I intend on just using It when the top is off but I remember seeing a pic of mijeeper80's jeep with the two flags on it and wanted something like that. Was wondering if you and or anyone else could tell me how they set theirs up.

Lol yea I just took glue and glued the flag to a piece of pvc and then used pipe straps and tightened them to the roll bar, worked pretty well

Haha, well alright then, I've been shopping around and think I'm just gonna use a cb antenna base that bolts on behind the tail light. Then, I'll just fasten a flag pole, I think is made of pvc, to the cb base. Hopefully that will work and be secure.

I love when someone displays the US flag. Not to be a party pooper but please make sure you display it properly with respect. I saw a pick up truck on Sunday that was running around with a big US flag....well the flag was all torn to Hell and looked terrible. That's no way to display the US flag. I chased the guy down and told him so. He apologized and took it down.

I'm not trying to start an argument in any way. Absolutely display the flag, but please treat it with respect when doing so.

We roll in OBX, and we do flag big time, 3/4 or 1" conduit and a couple wraps around the rollbar do real good assuming your top is off. Cause your top is off, isn't it! !!! Rock on man!

I agree with this guy

info for reading if interested

"§175. Position and manner of display

The flag, when carried in a procession with another flag or flags, should be either on the marching right; that is, the flag's own right, or, if there is a line of other flags, in front of the center of that line.

(b) The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motorcar, the staff shall be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender."
