Axle Trouble

Can anyone tell me what spline of axle shaft I would need according to my gear tag?

If its from a Dana 30 or 35, it's most likely a 27 spline.

It's off of my rear 35 and I just needed to know what spline. Another jeep friend told my that 35s are 27 spline unless the 30 spline upgrade was preformed

Yeah, it most likely is 27 spline. Most people wouldn't waste money on an upgrade kit for the 35, but its impossible to know unless you pull a shaft and count the splines.

I don't wanna dump money in the 35 but I'm on a high school budget and I need my jeep back. I'm going to upgrade when I get the funds though

Open up the cover and see if there are clips holding the axles in.
