bakini top

Just bought a bakini top off ebay and im pretty sure its missing some stuff. There is nothing to connect the front of the top to the front of the jeep. And there is also a long strap in the back that only has one side of the buckle connection. Could someone show me a couple closeup pics of instructions of some sort so i know what i need to buy. Thanks

header bar for the front part of bikini-the long strap is easier attached last. and it will be real obvious-it goes under the roll bar and back to the footman loop on the top of the windshield. It's purpose is to make the top "tight" so that it doesn't flap too much

Front of the top tucks into the header channel for your softop. My Bestop bikini has to have the leading edge folded under to lock into the channel.

The long strap goes OVER the roll bar and then is pulled UNDER towards the footman loop above your rearview mirrow. The strap goes through the loop from above and you need to pull it taut and then inset the end into the buckle.

With mine, I pull the strap as tight as I can and hold the strap with a pair of needle nose vice grips, squeezing the 2 parts of the strap together, right by the footman loop. This way you can use 2 hands to get the strap into the buckle and get it tightened up.

Corner straps in the rear of the top should be self explanatory.

am assuming the OP meant bikini top-however some people in warmer climes feel the bikini is a bake-ini top so wasn't sure if it was a play on words. In which case I will be all wrong-but hey I tried.

It should fit as long as you have a front channel installed. And do you have stapless bikini or normal?

Are the back straps long or short? If it's strapless it's 3 straps 1 in middle 2 on side. If it's normal there's two long straps only

Well CJ mount this way look at the picture. Im sure in YJ you can run it into the front holes in you're tub where the hard top mounts. But I would say you need header installed for it to work.
