best ammo can size for center console?

ok i have been googling and looking at a bunch of other threads about this ammo can center console thing. I have seen guys put 40mm, .50cal, 20mm and such as center consoles but i just want to know, if anybody knows, what is the best fit? i dont want a smug or tight fit, i want a little room between the seats/seat belt recievers and i dont want it to be in the way of shifting either. i know a bunch of people have ammo can consoles and im just asking for some info. thanks

This is the one I've got there. Its 6x12 and 13" deep. Its a monocular night vision box. I've seen alot of them around and every one is pretty much the same dimensions. And I have plenty of clearance for shifting

We just put one in my bro-in-laws TJ. I believe it was a 7.62 NATO box that held 2,500 rounds or something like that. Fit perfect.

I had the front edge flush against that hump and the backside I just used a 3 in bolt and some pvc as spacers

Ya through the box put the pvc over the bolt through the tub n tightened it down under above the tranny. Clearance wasn't an issue at all between tub n tranny
