Body bushins and mounts, question

Hello Every one,

I'm a lucky owner of 1992 Wrangler YJ 6 cyl. I've been doing most of the work with the jeep on the parking lot near my apartment, usually only making mods and repairs that take no more than 12 hours. Now i'm looking to replace all body bushings and mounts that hold frame and tub together. After doing some research it looks like i will lack necessary tools to do it successfully within my usual time limit. I already got the bushings kit and wonder if any one knows how much will a local shop charge for the labor to do this job (even approximately), does any one knows?

Got a friend with a garage and air tools? Shouldn't take you more than a few hours max if your spray down the seized bolts with some pb ahead of time. As easy and simple as this is I wouldn't pay a shop.

if the bolts come loose its only a couple hour job. as your from salt country i'd locate the mounts and drill holes in the body and spray daily with pb plaster for about a week.

It took me a couple of hours to replace all of mine. All you need is a jack and something to extend to the body, ratchet, a couple of sockets and a 12" extension makes the rears, in front of the gas tank easier. Also a swivel end will help get to the one by the exhaust.

thank you guys, Unfortunately i don't have friend with a garage and definitely no air tools. i will get pricing from few local shops, if they are out of my "fair" price range i will end up doing it my self once it gets a little warmer.

The rust will be an issue if you are from the rust belt. I'm sure a good shop will be aware of this and price accordingly. If any of the captured nuts inside the body spin, you are in for problems. Cutting of the body or floors may be required to get to the captured nut in question. Not trying to scare you, just prepare you for a painful reality many of us had to deal with. There is a pretty god thread on here somewhere from a guy in ohio.
