Cab Cover???

I'll be going away to Greece for the next month and would like to purchase an all weather cab cover if possible to protect the jeep while i am gone. Last time i went and came back no one bothered to move the jeep or drive it and it became a lil weathered from all the summer rain we had while i was away. Sooooooo this year i wanna buy a GOOD @$$ cab cover to keep her dry and weather free while i am enjoying my summer.

Does anyone have any ideas, or experiences with what product is good for a great price??

Stupid me, just realized cab covers only cover the cabs when the soft top is not on...so i guess i'll have to go with a full cover then..Darn!!

I'd look for a Great cover for a good price...but I'm mincing words.

Where do you live? I ask because I did this while deployed once and purchased a nice, sturdy cover. Problem was I lived in the desert and sand got under it and with the wind blowing the cover it acted like sand paper and wore a lot of spots bare on the paint.

So take the material that rests against the paint into consideration, the ability for the fabric to dry quickly if it's rained on so that it won't mold... UV resistant... A good stand-by is Bestop, if you call and explain your situation...they can recommend something to fit your needs.

Look at rampages cover on amazon its $35 shipped...

My only problem with covers it invites morons to look underneath and try to steal things...

Another thing you can do to help puddling water is build a small PVC " I " structure in the back (if you dont have the family style bars) to help rain trickle down...

It doesn't say waterproof, or even water resistant. It may be the type that allows the water to pass through it, and dries quickly. If the Jeep isn't already water...errrr... resistant Dr may wanna look for something more appropriate.

Well I think he leaves his soft top on. I was asking because I need something for emergencies when it rains. My whole tub is lined and I have no carpet so i don't really care about water for that but I have nice fabric seats that I'd like to cover up in emergency situations. I guess I'll stick with the contractor bags for now

I have an ER top, that i've used once and it wasnt even for an ER. Just had left the Jeep top down at the GF's and her father actually put it on for me while we were away. (nice guy)

but this is what it is.

Pavement Ends 56810-01 - Pavement Ends™ Emergency Top in Black for 76-91 Jeep® CJ-7 & Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

and i think you can even drive with it on.

I live in North Brunswick if you'd like to check it out in Person....right up rt 1.

Yeah I had seen those. I was thinking of going with the cockpit cover option. I do like that you can drive with the one you have though so on second thought I'll go with that. Thanks buddy! Good call.
