I'm gonna be honest if it was in the 1000 rang it would say rigid industry's or have a company logo on it. You got yourself an eBay/amazon bar that probably cost 100. I picked up a Avec brand bar off amazon for 110 cause it had a small scratch on a cooling fin the brand I got ususlly runs 450-550

without any brand markings, it could be a $1000 lightbar... or a $100 lightbar.. very hard to find out

Yep most $1000 dollar light bars are $100 dollar light bars with name brands on them. Don't get me wrong, there are some better ones out there, bust most are re-branded myled.com China cheapo's. Not that they are bad either. Alot of light for your buck on the China stuff.

Let it sit out in the rain and humidity for a could days. If it fogs/clouds up, then you got a cheap one lol.
I agree with these guys though, you can possibly get good quality out of the cheap ones. I run one that I got from amazon for $140 six months ago and haven't had a single issue. Although on my truck I put another brand about the same price and its fogged up. Hard to say what you got though just by looking. $100 or $1000 they all look the same.

For a 1000 dollars you shouldn't have to take it off to put your top on,

A Grand?

Wow, must be some special lightbar there. Oh, I guess installation could run up the cost too. Maybe $400 to $500 if they had to fly in an "offroad specialist" from Colorado.

I'd wager to say it was more around $100 . As long as it works then that's all that really matters. I don't care for how it's mounted. Really limits a top.

I agree... If it were a Rigid, it would say it on there.... I think hes full of it. I plan on taking it off and re-mounting where it will allow a top to go on. Too much rain and mud in my neck of the woods..
