Can't See Through Soft Top Windows

Is there some type of product that will make the plastic windows so they can be seen through?

mine are gettin' pretty bad too. I've zipped mine out, layed them inside on the carpet and buffed both sides with just regular car wax and they turned out pretty good.

You can go to a Cessna shop at most small airfields and get a compound that is used on aircraft windscreens and it will make them like new. Works great on those dull headlight lens' too.

Awesome dudes. I recently bought a 3M headlight polishing kit from AZ that did wonders for the headlights on my Taurus. I'm gonna give that a quick try.

Plastic (Soft-Top) Window Cleaning

Don't be fooled by that video - you don't have the tools or years of experience.

Use Pledge "all surface" cleaner to wipe down the windows with a micro-fiber rag. The soft top windows should be have been cleaned before beginning this point with a good washing.

Use a new micro-fiber rag, and rub "Meguiar's PlastX" into the windows in 12" by 12" sections until the polish is no longer visible. Repeat, until all the windows are done. You can do multiple passes for better results.

Do a final wipe down on each window with a clean micro-fiber rag. Then spray on "Meguiar's #18 Clear Plastic Detailer." Gently wipe on the Detailer on each window for great clarity and UV protection.

Both Meguiar's PlastX and Meguiar's #18 Clear Plastic Detailer can be found at your local Marine Supply store and online.
