Lightbulb Cb Mount Locations

Was wondering if anyone had mounted their cb above their rear view mirror and had some pictures? Seen it done in Jk's and Tj's but couldn't find a write up for a yj

Just some flat stock bent at a 90 degree angle, and mounted to the bolts on the top of the windshield frame.

Mounting up my cb this weekend. ^ That looks effective and cheap.

I use to have a Uniden Pro510 mounted above my mirror on a custom built mount. But I now run a Galaxy 98VHP, just mounted on the dash. Ill post some pics.

Here is how i had mounted my Pro510. I had it moded with mosfets. Did about 28 watts. Im ham so i wanted 10 meters, so i recently put in a Galaxy 98VHP.

Mounted mine in the original radio spot. It is a Cobra 19, and fits perfectly. My radio/cd player is mounted in my tuffy center console. THis way, Nothing is hanging and nothing is in the way.
