Cheap Little Brute

I can't take credit for the project but a family friend I bought my latest jeep from made a hard half top and custom roll bar for his Jeep at the time. You have to chop the top in half length wise, put in some side panels to fill in the gap from the window, and brace the new top seam. If you're good with fiberglass it's not as hard as it looks. Industrial adhesive help temporarily hold it in place for the glass work. The the rollbar has to be cut to allow the top to sit over it and holes need to be drilled in the back to slide them in place. A small pin holds them together when it's done.

Very nice. I wanted to do something like that but I don't think I could bring myself to cut my roll bars.

I'm adverse to tops of any kind but I think that's the bomb. And a sweet paint job too. Enjoy the ride.

that's cool..when I built the rollbar in badboy I intentionally sat it back a few inches with the intention of cutting down a hardtop similar to this except mine would fit forward of the rollbar and not enclose it at all..

Believe me, brother, I think about Big Boy all the time. Still the finest all around CJ I've ever seen.
