Gottagofast is in Indiana. That area may be in the 'rust belt'. Do they use salt or mag chloride on the roads there? What do you think a Jeep like this would sell for there?
What might make the Jeep in the ad worth an offer is the statement by the seller.... "no rust". Most of he rest of the options listed are just a bunch of bolt-ons that the seller seems to like.
Here in Colorado the asking price may be a bit much, but the seller is asking for offers. I'm guessing the 45 $100 dollar bills would satisfy the seller. Anything less than that depends on how long it's up for sale and the buyers negotiating skills.
Naturally, any value is determined by the proven condition of the vehicle. Is it a never rusted vehicle, or rusted and the rust removed by patching?
If I were looking for another YJ, and the Jeep 'proves out', I'd politely offer $3K and wait a couple weeks and then go back with a bit more cash. If it sold in the meantime, I wouldn't be heartbroken. Rust free YJs and even CJs aren't uncommon here.
Folks in California seem to have more cash than the rest of us throughout the country.
Good Luck, L.M.
