custom paint & body signing question

ok, so i am finally finishing up my yj build and I have really wanted to have everybody who has ever helped me with something on my jeep to sign my tailgate.

I am afraid of using permanent marker because of the acids in the ink.

I have also thought about having people sign a digital tablet I have and having the signatures turned into a vinyl decal or maybe a stencil for the paint guy to use...

any ideas anyone? I couldn't find anything online

How bout a paint pen designed for models? That might be the answer. Lots of colors to chooses from.

Stop it and use whatever you want. It's a jeep and they are damn near indestructible. Sign it with a laser if you wan and burn the tribute into the steel forever. It's your jeep. Be bold

Vinyl is a good idea but the signatures (if you mean signatures in the literal sense) will need to be on the bolder side and large, to be cut correctly. Thin vinyl doesn't hold so well. You could get a digital print onto clear and stick that. Or just have people's names done in a font of your choice stacked somewhere
