D Ring Mounts for YJ

My YJ is converted to coil springs. The old leaf spring front mounts are still there. I would like to find something I can bolt to these for d-rings. Any ideas?

Big enough to yank it out of something when I get it stuck, but primarily to hook the tow chains to it.

How about an OE shackle, maybe gussetted for side to side strength?

good idea.

i was thinking that a person could cut off one side of the mount and move it next to the other side and reweld it on for a ticker mount on each side of the front but your idea is better

ive seen 2 stock front leaf mounts peel off on the trail.

I would not trust them.

Just cut them off, and remake something else to hold them

Norcal-Chirs I was afraid that someone was going to say that. Tereflex makes a pretty stout bolt on that I think I will use. I have an aftermarket bumper that is 1/4 inch steel. With the backing it should do for now. Thanks for the feed back.
