Decisions, decisions...

Decisions, decisions... WWYD? My B-in-L bought new tires and wheels for his Wrangler. His 35’s are 13 yrs old, but they’re in good condition. Should I run the 35’s on my Dana 30 and 35 with 4.56 gears? I know the risks, but I’ll likely only be doing light wheelin’ and commuting short distances.

I just bought my 33’s less than 6 months ago. They have less than 200 miles on them and I know I’d be lucky to get $400 for them. Hmmm? Not sure which way I want to go here.

I’m running a 4” RE lift with a 2” Body Lift so I have the clearance.

13 yr old tires are an accident waiting to happen, they may look great, but I wouldn't trust them. They are probably too dried out to last long. Id hate to see you get a blowout going down the freeway.

Thanks, I decided to stick with the 33s. My plan is to run it like it is on stock axles until I have a proper shop. Then I’ll likely upgrade axles and go bigger. Maybe by then I’ll be ready to stroke my 4.0 or drop a 5.3 in it.
