Dieseling

Cant seem to figure out the dieseling problem on my 89, 4cy wrangler. Timing is good and no vacuum leaks that I could find. Any other suggestions?

yjwrangler, again, I believe you have some unresolved issues with the 2.5L. You and a 2.5 should crack a couple open and work some things out.

i'd like to know what the fix is, the 4 banger i'm storing for a friend has always done that once or twice a week when driving daily. never figured it out, you'd think timing but it was ok to. tune up helped.

my 94 never runs on, always starts right up, and shuts right off. its pushin 150K. I would tune it up, try 89 octane, or lucas fuel treatment-i think helps stop the dieseling.

well you see one night we did crap open a few,and you know how the story goes, flirting led to spooning and so on...then when i woke up...well i was awfully soar...and it turns out....here is the kicker

I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT F*&^ED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the four banger tricked me, it wore jeep clothing and i believed it, looked so sweet and innocent... well now i got the real deal and i can look back and laugh at when that happened..although i get really shy and embarrased when it gets brought up, you know the 4 poper and i...
