Door tops and Windjammer?

I purchased this 90 YJ a few weeks ago. It's perfect for South Georgia summers with the bikini top, but I want to start planning for what I'll need for the winter soon. I don't care about it being water tight...just want to close it in somewhat for the heat. What's the best way for me to do this cost efficiently?

I was thinking a Best Top Windjammer and tops for the half doors. Would this work? What is my best bet for the doors? Any suggestions are appreciated.

That all is a workable and affordable way to achieve that goal

There are usually a few soft uppers for sale on Craigslist, just make sure they aren't off of a tj, or 87 yj. They need modification to fit

If you come across the hard half door uppers, or glass windowed uppers, those are nicer to have than the plastic windows. They are over 300 new and used, 200. So if you find them cheaper than that.....

I am assuming I need to make sure the door uppers include some sort of frame, right? These wouldn't include everything I suppose...
Smittybilt 89611 - Smittybilt Door Skins for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

I just noticed that Smittybilt makes a Windbreaker that looks just like the Windjammer...any personal experiences with either brand?

Those door skins wont come with that wire frame in that pic. Thats what they mean by "skins". There are complete uppers, too.

Keep in mind the factory soft top frame hardware assembly came with a door "surround" that stabilized and sealed the soft half door upper. You wont have that to keep the upper door from flopping around a bit in the slipstream

Most smittybuilt, rugged Ridge, and bestop stuff are usually very similar is design and construction. Only differing in material quality.
