Dude took my passenger seat riser... and what Torx for seatbelts

This weekend's project was replacing the seats and seatbelts. I got everything out, stripped half the stupid torx, had to angle grind, impact hammer, Pb blast the living heck out of the rest, got the new rear and driver seat back in.... And then I think the dude who trolls the alley's looking for recyclables picked up my entire passenger seat riser/slider that I had sitting out by the trashcans. Mother trucker.

ANYHOW. Does anyone know the replacement size for the seatbelt torx bolts? The ones that bolt down into the tub? I've been to 3 hardware stores and no one has torx or fine threaded bolts that match, and I'm fed up. I'll order from Quadratec and fume the whole time....

I'm not sure the size torx bolts but if you gave a Fastenal store in your area, they might carry them. They have tons of different hardware and if they don't have it they can order it for you cheaper than anywhere else.

I just got done replacing seats and belts. I replaced all old rusty bolts with new ones. In my 95, the torx (T50) for the belts were replaced with hex bolts 7/16-20 and the seat riser bolts were replaced with 3/8-16 hex bolts. Everything fit perfectly, I bought all bolts from lowes. Hope this helps.

Ace Hardware seems to have a better selection of bolts, at least in my area. They are usually open on Sundays. They might let you take one of each size out to your Jeep to confirm fitbefore you buy. Mine will. Good luck.

Thanks! I'll try Lowes. But my risers were metric: M8-1.25.... which is equivalent to 5/16.... so who knows. Jeep Learning Curve.

Lowe's for the win. 7/16-20 works!
