electrical gremlin solved

For months I've been plagued with a power failure intermittently while driving. It would just loose power. Come to find out it was a corroded fuse. The offensive little bugger was the 15amp ignition fuse in the fuse block under the dash. Neither my mechanic or myself discovered it until the other morning the jeep just wouldn't start. At that point the corrosion had gotten to the point where it was noticeable upon inspection. It wasn't burnt the corrosion was inside the plastic. I had looked at this fuse many times before and didn't see the corrosion. Now after replacing the darn thing all seams to be well.

Sonny S likes this.
