factory soft top frame "strap" ?

I am trying to figure out what those little straps are supposed to do. Only only have one still in tact, and the weekend was the first time that I folded down my top.
I did not take it out on the road, but I am assuming if I did, it would bounce around a lot, and maybe these straps had something to do with holding it down.
Now that I think of it, maybe I just should have checked my owners manual.
Next will be to replace them.
The webbing is half gone ont he one, and the other side does not have much life left.

The straps are for holding the frame down when you take the top down. Believe me, they help!

Had my first need to actually use these straps. I went to the only auto upholstery / interior shop in the county. They could not help me.
Can I buy from Jeep ?
I can't believe that nobody makes them in the aftermarket. Like Bestop maybe ?
