for anyone who's still rockin' the stock rear track bar.

Could someone possibly post atleast a picture of where the trackbar is connected to the axle? I need to make a new mount because I snapped mine off -_-. Maybe include how far up to drill the hole for the bolt on the new steel. Thank you.

I have a 4" lift so there is a 2" extension bracket on my original mount here in this shot. But you get the idea of where the placement is; directly above the shock mount next to the spring U-bolt.
If you are at stock height, then the stock bolt hole location is exactly 3" above the top of the axle tube.

left mine off when I added 2.5 inch lift. no adverse affects. flexes much better and rides fine on the highway. I do have the front one installed.

I just wanna put it back for the sake that the banging of it on the axle when I go over a bump is obnoxious. If I just remove it completly though, it rides alright? Will i still pass NY state inspection?

Best thing I did was remove these. The PO put a 4" Rough Country lift & left the track bars on. The Jeep rode like a stage coach & I could feel EVERY bump or imperfection in the road. I removed both & was amazed at the ride quality difference. A free mod to improve handling/flex is always good in my mind.
