Frameless soft tops for our yjs?

So far I've only seen softoppers. I am really considering it but I would like opinions from other people. Maybe someone had a experience with this top? Also does anyone know what happened to those california frameless soft tops i heard good things about them but cant find any.
Any thing you have to say or add about frameless soft tops....im basically all ears. Just sick of the hardtop its a pain to take off

I looked at the Rampage model, just didn't want to buy new uppers ( found some hard sliders a while back and wanted to stay with those). So I went with the Softtoper... all I can say is wow, customer service was great, fast delivery (military discount), quiet (compaired to factory soft top) and a hell of a lot easier to slap the winows in if there's nasty weather ... only complaint the interior straps could use a slight relocation... can't put in that Tuffy over head radio/CB mount now...lol

I'd like to know too. I have a bestop frame and top and she is a bit tattered. I see that sell the skins now. I have the full door model. The skin is around the same price as the frameless so I'm not sure which way to go.

I am leaning towards airborne*yj's way. The softopper seems like a great deal, and great functionality.

I'm likely going to go with a rampage frameless if I ever need a top. I like the look of it and every one I've seen fits snug and holds up.

I just helped a buddy install a Rampage Frameless Top on his TJ a couple weekends ago. It went on really well and fits great. The quality of the material (sailcloth) and the seams seem very nice. I think you'll be happy with the Rampage. If I was in the market for a soft top, I wouldn't look at any other top on the market...that's how impressed I am with his Rampage.

I saw that one before. I have Bestop super top so it's not factory hardware. The bestop skin is around 400 bucks. For that price I think I'd rather have the frameless.

I have the softopper and I have half doors with bestop supertop slides and I love it. The only picks I got are with my crappy upper hard doors. But it looks basically the same as with my bestop uppers..

I think I'll sell my old one on eBay and go for the frameless. Black with the tint looks sharp. My top is spice tinted now but my interior is gray.

The Softtopper is the way to go if you have full steel doors. If you are running half doors with the upper skins, then the Rampage is definitely the way to go (and I offer discounts on them btw ). Both tops are nice for what they're designed for.

Additionally, the Rampage does come with new uppers for your half doors.
