Front cage options...

Looking for some front cage addon options, or even a whole new cage, need to be able to run a factory soft top , no ebrake in the way, dont run full doors. Also not looking to break my wallet

This would probably be the easiest way to add a cage

None from a YJ have been sent back in over the years. Lots of JK though. They are posted on our FB page.

If you limit yourself to the factory e-brake, then your choices become very few (Genright comes to mind - they have a bent sheetmetal option), and your cage will be weaker. You can relocate your e-brake to a handle type to open up more options. There are lots of threads on this around the various forums.

If you're really worried about safety, then you'll want frame tie-ins, and you'll want to mount your seats to the cage.

Also, consider all the extra weight that you will be adding up high on the Jeep. It depends on your goals for safety vs. the type of wheeling that you do.

Genright formed metal stanchions:

Got it - I misread your first post

With no factory ebrake, your options are greatly increased
