Gerry Cans

Does anyone know where I can purchase the gerry cans that fit the two factory gas can holders on the back of my jeep. At least i think those are gas can holders.

Thanks,
Wes

oh, the bumperettes. i don't think they are actually made for gerry cans, but you might be acbe to fab something up to make it work. i think they are on there only for protection purposes.

They are called nerf bumpers. Like when you get hit they 'nerf'. Like a squishy ball. Harbor Freight Tools has the steel Jerry cans you're asking about.

For some reason, this thread reminded me of a problem I've been having. The cup holder on my computer is all goobered up. It keeps sliding back in.

Jeep message boards are more entertaining than the comedy channel, this is a perfect example of that fact!

You have to get to and from the trail. Most accidents happen in a given radius from your house!

I've found that the bumperettes aren't very good for stump pulling though. I knew that would happen!

I'd be willing to bet that ALL accidents happen within a given radius from your house.

I live near Clarksville, TN home of the 101 Airborne and many surplus stores. If you can find an older gas can it will be stronger than the ones offered new. I saw a guy lay one can on its side and jump on it!
Check out:
Pack Rat Inc
503 Providence Blvd
Clarksville, TN 37042
931-552-4962
This guy can find any surplus things you want including gas cans.
