Got my new top, just need to ask a question abt it though......

hey guys just got my new bestop sailcloth replace-a-top, and looks great, only issue is it seems a tad slack over the front seats, my old time didnt seem to have this problem. im not sure what brand the old top was, but the rear window said "outland" on it. idk if its a difference in brands, materials, or what. does anyone know if this is normal and or acceptable or is it something i need to get taken care of? TIA

-kenny

i think if you adjust the side bars to a higher setting it will lift it. like up the notch in the rear side windows.

hmm...you know i am not sure. i got my jeep with a hard top already on. I switched out for the best top sail cloth and it has the option to adjust the top tighter. so far i still have it on the 1st setting, but i am noticing that it is starting to sag a tad, specially from the snow weight at times. prob in the summer when the sun heats it up it will tighten back up to normal. I hope...but just knowing that i have the option to adjust is awesome.

you can adjust the length of the side roll bars after loosening the windshield brackets. Might affect a hard top if you plan on butting one on again.

^^ oh yeah i forgot about that. People rarely notice that you can because some never remove the roll bar covering.
