I just put true tracs in front and back. Haven't really put it to the test yet, but I can tell you turning and driveability are perfect. No noise or hard turns. I don't have experience with Grizzly.

correct me if i'm wrong with the dana 30 front end I have a cable disconnect .with the transfer case I 2wd and cable disconnected the front diff would be like an open diff even during sharp turns if I have a locker or not. with the two axel not connected the locker would not have any reason to click or make any noise. right????

That makes sense. But I only have experience with the True tracs. Someone else with Grizzlies on a YJ will have to let you know.

I have a trutrac in the front of my YJ and a locker in the rear. I really like the combo. It has worked great every situation that I have put it to.

I ran a trutrac in the rear with an open front for years. Mostly on road driving, some snow. I was pretty happy with the setup in terms of drivability, no tire chirping around corners. Plenty of grip in the snow, actually didn't use 4x4 very much after the trutrac. Overall very pleased with it. Hope that helps

I have a Trutrac in the rear and an open front. I have been amazed at some of the mud my Jeep has gone through. It works great. If you have a Trutrac installed they work best with a gear oil that does not have any friction modifiers. Most gear oils do. The best one I have found is Shell Spirax HD.
