Well you have several options depending on what resources you have available. If you have a garage with high ceilings you can install a hard top hoist. With a.hand crank or electric motor. That seems to be the most out of the way and one man friendly method. They range from 100$ on up to 600$ from what I've seen. You could also make one.
Next if a ahoist want work is you can buy a hard top cart whitch usually also has brackets for your doors. This rest your top.vertically on a flat cart with the rear glass down and doors sit in side the top. You could also make this. Me personally I have a tarp I sit mine on on the ground

Ground for sure has worked for me. I'm also building a storage shelf that my trail trailer fits under and the top will bolt to to get off the ground and protect from other possible damage
Like stated above. There are a lot pf options, just put it in the safest place you can. They are not cheap to replace.

Here is what I have done. I just back up in it, raise the front and slide the bars in and then do the same on the back. And then drive out from under it.

That's what I'm looking at building.

Right not mines stuffed in my shed connected to a hoss. But it takes up too much space so I'm thinking of getting a fancy top cover and keeping it outside
