Hello!

Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a 1990 Jeep Wrangler Sahara last week. So far it has 110k on the odometer and I'll be sure to add more. This is my first Wrangler (and project) so I'll be around reading the forum getting some technical guidance. Look forward to talking to you all soon!

Figure out the stalling issue. From what I've read so far its most likely carb related. So I'll be getting some more info on that. Other than that I'll be getting a handle on what was done by the previous owners and making sure all that is kosher.

Best part of yours is the CA plates. You could have been a big dummy like me and bought one in the Northeast!

Mechanical stuff is easy...rust is metal that is no longer metal!

Have fun.

I've read quite a bit on the Howell kit, watched the install vid on youtube...just not sure if I want to immediately throw $1400 at it.

Just bought one 1285.00, delivered yesterday and should finish install tomorrow. Sure hope it was worth it.

I'll have to keep up with how it goes for you. The biggest deterrent in ordering the kit for me is the difference in complexity between swapping a carb vs the howell conversion. (Getting under the hood is still new for me)

I posted comments and pics on the Howell Kit in the post titled " Just finished the Howell TBI install"
