Help please

Well it's been a long time since I've been on the forum. I used to see a lot of posts by a guy HarleyDragon. Anyone know if he's still around. The guy's a walking tech manual and always helped everyone. I was just looking to hear from him. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I think he's still around, you can PM him to be sure. He became a moderator and then stopped posting so much. I think it burned him out. A lot of the people who used to post frequently are MIA. I used to read the posts on a daily basis but at some point you get tired of seeing the same old questions. I mostly go to the off topic areas now, maybe that's where he is.

True. I recently got a JKU and have been over on that forum:

1. Which color is best/paint job sucks
2. Sport vs Rubi vs Sahara, best for offroad vs DD
3. Something about tires/wheels (sometimes lifts), or headlights...OMG so MANY discussions about headlights.
4. Some new product discussion (steering stabilizer, bestop product, etc)
5. Should I buy a JK or wait on the JL.

That pretty much covers it.

What bugs me is when someone posts their problem, lists all the symptoms and troubleshooting they've done, then you never hear from them again. You never get to know what solved the problem.

I agree. If the OP would come back to say if the responses helped (or not) it may help the rest of us help the next person that has a similar problem.

Good Luck, L.M.

I've found a metric butt ton of threads on various forums when looking for solutions where the OP never reports back. It's really frustrating, and what's worse is the repliers took the time to try and help the OP, but the OP never thanks them for any of it.

Hey Everyone,
I found HarleyDragon. He's doing fine and keeping busy. Thanks for the help. On a side note I have an 88 YJ that I put a SBC 383 stroker motor with a TH350. the old wiring harness is toast so I'm going to replace it so I don't have a vehicle fire down the road. Has anyone replaced the entire wiring system for a application like this? If so what brand harness did you go with and how's it working out? Thanks in advance for any help...Gunny Out!!
