Help with my new soft top.

I'm trying to install a soft top on my jeep for the very first time so far everything is going good except for the back bow won't stay up on its own. How do I get it to stay up? Any help is appreciated

The back bow should be attached to a spreader bar on the top and fit into a notch on the bottom at the frame rail. As stated, pics would really help.

thats the best top supertop hardware style, its the same thing as what i have. you have to snap the top its self onto the rear part and pull it up all as one. the frame wont stand on its own without the tension of the fabic

So once I put on the fabric it'll stay up?

yup. if you look at the rear bars it has snaps on it that snap into the top its self. once those are attached it all moves as one whole piece. and once you get it up and the front hooked into the windshield channels you use the angled pieces to adjust the tension.
