hi lift mount

anybody used the hi lift tube mount on rectangular tubing? I want to mount it on my tire carrier which is rectangular. I'm guessing I could swap out the u bolts for square ones if necessary. Thought it might grip well enough that I could get by though.

you could just buy the other type of mount which is made for bumpres, or if u have a winch with a fairfield roller on the front i use those 2 holes to hold in my hi lift jack. outside is dangerous i bent mine like that

Just weld some grade 8 studs to your tube, and get big wing nuts

scrapped the tube mount idea. took my water container off the one side of my carrier and placed the hi lift there. captured it with a square u-bolt from tractor supply. it works and looks pretty good. also keeps the jack away from most of the potential danger I see with other mounting points. Much cheaper than the hi lift tube mount as well!
