Hood decals

I went to put some hood decals on last night but stopped.

I centered it between the hood latch and the opposite edge and 1" from the bottom. I taped it in place stood back but it was at an angle but lined up the the bottom edge.

Then I angled the end up so it was parallel to the ground but now it didn't see lined up right on the hood.

What do others do when putting on hood decals? How do you align them? I am probably over thinking it but I'm really picky on vehicle stickers. Thanks

Pics??? I would keep it 1" from the bottom edge of the hood. If you put it on parallel to the ground of course you have to make sure your Jeep is level and not on an incline or decline....
When I put on different decals on the side panels in front of the doors I ran some blue painters tape along the bottom of the old decals I was removing first before I took them off to make sure I put the new ones on the same way.

Yeah, measure off the distance and draw in a line that can be removed, or use a piece of 1" masking tape

Need to go off the body line at the bottom of the hood. Center to ur liking. Up and down will depend on your height of you graphic. See my thread in this section Operation YJ Resurrection for tips. I show how to lay graphics. I would be happy to put them on for you. But we all know how big Texas is. Here is a pic of a Sprint Car I did a few months back. Not a wrap. All cut Vinyl in layers.
