How Long does it take you?

How long does it take you guys to take off and put on your soft top? It takes me a pretty long time to put mine on, not so much taking it off, putting on the hardware by myself is a challenge. any methods on how to put a factory style top on fast?

By the end of the summer, I can get to off in about three minutes, and on in about 7 minutes (if the zippers cooperate)

TJs are a different beast. YJ tops are annoying. Takes me a few minutes to take down, 15 to put up.

Off in just a few, on in 15 or so, 10 if I have help. The bikini, tonneau, and wind-jammer set go on in under 5 mins.

Newbie here- got brand new unlimited hard top and soft top never installed. Manual doesn't look too direct on installing. Is it confusing/ hard?

3 minuites off and less than 10 or less to put on. i do not pull off my side windows. I just fully unzipp the vertical zipper on them and flip them on the top then fold it all the way down. I have found that un-doing the corners makes it easier to zip when putting it back on.

It takes me about 5 minutes to take down my YJ top and about 15 minutes to put it back up. And that's only because it takes extra time to get it in the windshield channel if you're by yourself. I got caught in a brief shower on my way to work and it went up in about 8 minutes. Go figure.

Check You Tube, there are some good videos on putting it on. The Bestop website also has a good installation video. It's not hard, just kinda confusing the first time. It also helps to have two people until you're comfortable with the procedure.

Three years ago? This is a zombie thread?

I can pull my top in about 5 minutes if the channels cooperate, fold it all back and fold up the sides, pull off and lay in the garage. Then reinstall the same way. Hardest part is getting all the snaps back together. Seems like there's always one that doesn't want to stretch back.

It takes me six months to put the top on.
I take it off in April, shortly thereafter I'll see a cloud and think about putting it on.
I actually put the top on in October.
Then in November there will be that one warm day and I'll think about taking it off but, I guess that takes six months too.
